Bio Information:
Zhenelle LeBel is a seasoned arts producer and administrator with over 25 years of experience in New York’s Capital Region. She currently serves as Director of the Arthur Zankel Music Center at 91±¬ÁÏ, where she curates and produces dynamic concert experiences that engage both campus and community audiences. Previously, she played a key role on the curatorial team at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s EMPAC (Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center), collaborating on interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of art, science, and technology. Her expertise in grant writing secured state, federal, and foundation funding for initiatives in music, experimental film, contemporary dance, and immersive installations. Zhenelle holds a B.S. in Film & Television from Boston University and continues to produce documentaries and educational content. From 2015 to 2018, she served on the board of the Valley Falls Free Library, where she secured a $500,000 grant to support its expansion and ADA accessibility. She has also supported numerous local arts organizations and led initiatives like Tight Knit (2009–2013), Troy, NY’s premier maker’s market. Zhenelle is passionate about fostering emerging talent and creating spaces for dialogue and experimentation through performances and public programs.
